The National and State Assembly Election Petition Tribunal for Rivers State has opened in Port Harcourt to hear petitions arising from the re-run legislative elections conducted on March 19, 2016.
DAILY POST reports that the Election Petition Tribunal is sitting at Block C within the Rivers State Judiciary Complex in the state capital.
However; the tribunal which has Suraju Gusau as its Secretary, is yet to receive any petition from any aggrieved party or candidate that took part in the elections.
